Cotton shrinks because of the tension that is applied to its yarn and fabrics during the construction of the clothing. This is why most cotton clothing will shrink during its first washing. The best way to avoid shrinkage is to wash them by hand or to use cold water and the delicate cycle of your washing machine.
There will be color bleed after washing it a few times. Wash separately to avoid color transfer to others clothes
- Turn inside out
- Hand wash in cold or warm water with the same color fabric
- Use normal wash cycle and gentle detergent
- Avoid using any hash chemicals like bleach and fabric softener
- Reshape while damp
- Do not tumble dry
- Warm iron if needed
- Do not dry cleaning
- Hang to dry
